History and Background
Clean Energy For All (CEFA) was established with the vision of providing affordable, sustainable, and eco-friendly energy solutions to communities across Tanzania and beyond.
The organization was born out of the need to address limited access to clean energy and the negative environmental and health impacts caused by traditional cooking fuels like wood and charcoal.
CEFA began its journey by promoting clean cooking solutions such as briquettes and clean-burning stoves to replace traditional fuels. Recognizing the potential of solar energy to empower communities, CEFA expanded its offerings to include solar energy systems for households, schools, and small businesses.
Over the years, CEFA has grown into a recognized advocate for clean energy and sustainable development. Its initiatives are aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy) and SDG 13 (Climate Action).
Today, CEFA continues to drive innovation and advocacy in the clean energy sector, partnering with schools, local governments, and international organizations to create a sustainable future for all.
